Humility 04:00
Humility Words and music by Susan Mack Arranged by The Solo Committee Verse 1 When desire leads me astray, When all that’s pure seems lost in gray, When sin attracts like gravity, I pray for humility. Chorus For this is all my God requires. She is the Cause that inspires Me to live unselfishly, In childlike humility. Verse 2 When human pride fights for its way, Self-justified, I would say, “Why can’t the world live righteously?” Then I pray for humility. Chorus Verse 3 When my thoughts just won’t let go, When my heart aches to know, When my soul seeks clarity, I pray for humility. Chorus Bridge Teach me your justice, goodness for all. Give me your mercy, which sees none can fall. Help me to walk with you, God, faithfully, For whatever you ask, you have caused me to be. Chorus

Open Mine Eyes Words and music by Susan Mack Arranged by The Solo Committee Verse 1 The king of Syria warred against Israel And took counsel with his servants saying, “In such and such a place shall be my camp.” But Israel kept escaping. The King demanded, “How has this occurred? Show me which of us is a spy’” “None, my lord O king”, said his servant man. “Elisha our whereabouts doth prophesy.” Chorus Open, open mine eyes. That I may see wondrous things Out of Thy law. Verse 2 So the king of Syria sent horses and chariots To capture Elisha in Dothan. The servant Gehazi in terror next morn Told Elisha the Syrians had surrounded them. “Fear not.” said Elisha, to this frightened one. “They that be with us are more than all these.” Lord, I pray Thee, open his eyes, That he may see. Chorus Verse 3 Then just in that change of beholding with God, Gehazi was able to see. The mountains were full of horses of fire And Chariots of divinity. Then Elisha, unseen, walked right through that army And he diverted and led them to Samaria. When the king of Israel would’ve killed the foe, Elisha sent them home to Syria. Chorus

Faith is the trust that what we hear from God Means more than all the eyes can glean. Verse 2 By faith Noah built that ark, And when the flood came, his family stayed dry. By faith Nehemiah built the wall, Never listening to those who asked why. Verse 3 By faith Joseph told the king’s dream And he helped when the famine came.
