lyrics

Kingdom of Heaven
Words: Susan Booth Mack Snipes
Music: Carey Loomis

Chorus
We don't have to earn perfection,
We don't have to toil in fear.
We don't have to enter heaven,
For we are already there.

Not just by saying Lord, Lord,
Do we get to the kingdom of heaven.
But by letting this mind be in us as in Christ,
The blessing is already given

Chorus

He who tries to get from here to there,
ls like a man who builds on sand.
When the storms of earth come crashing in,
His thoughts will never stand.

Chorus

But he who starts and stays with God
ls like a man who builds on rock.
When the storms of earth come crashing in,
His thoughts cannot be shocked.

Let's build upon the rock.
Let God give our every thought.
Heaven isn't over there.
God's peace unfolds everywhere.

Chorus

We don't have to earn perfection,
We don't have to toil in fear.
We don't have to enter heaven,
For we are already here.
